Hi Prashant,
I was in a similar situation about 4 years back, when I was looking a car different from the regular stuff. I was looking for a used Gypsy, however I couldnt find a decent one within my budget of 1.5Lacs.
Eventually I decided to buy a Pajero 2 door, short wheel base version. After searching for 5 months I got one in mumbai for 5 lakhs on road.
Used it for 4 years and 40000kms and had a blast with it. Even though it was over 10 years old the build quality was superb, and it was a very easy SUV to drive in city as well.
So I would suggest looking at older 2 door pajeros, which are more common in NCR than in mumbai, or any older Japneese Car/SUV which makes you go WOW.
