I did this trip a couple of times this year. however, i am not so good in knowing the town names and directions etc. Hyd-Nizamabad is 170km and when you approach that figure on your odo their is a left that you need to take that will mostly bypass the nizamabad town and will take you straight to Basar which is approximately 50+ kms from there.
Hyd-Nizamabad is a breeze and a lovely road to drive. From there on, the roads get narrower and will take you sometime. I did this drive starting from home at 10:30am and reached back home at 6pm including the darshan with a lunch stop on the highway ( sandwiches in the car). The total distance covered was around 460km.
