Thanks, Anoop. If not for you and xinome, I would have driven 200kms in vain. It was nice meeting 2 Kerala tbhp-ians, even if it was just a short meet at a bakery over tea/coffee and puffs.
Ofcourse the highlight of the visit was seeing your beautifully done-up Palio with great ICE (though being ICE-challenged, I have no idea what all that stuff does - just know that the end result would be awesome to hear).
I had asked about directions to Nettur in the other thread (the only Nettur I know was 'Nettur Stephen') and this was what jkdas replied.

So, when he said "bar", I assumed he is talking about the Nettur kallu shaappu. So, drove down to Chertala and asked for directions to Nettur. They were like, "The nearest Nettur we know is after Cochin". I thought maybe they do not know Chertala enough and so drove on and checked again. Same reply.
I try zak's number - not reachable. I dont have any other mallu tbhp-ians number. Nor do I remember the name of the kalyana mandapam. I call nitrous who gives me Harrie's number, from whom I get hydrashok's number and finally get to see him and xinome.
I am not sure about other places in Kerala, but back where I come from, this trip of mine would surely qualify as a classic case of "kondhan kollathu poyi".
