On a single change of synthetic oil, any petrol engine can safely run for 7,500 - 10,000 kms. That is why I started the point with "Mobil 1". On regular lubes....yes, 5000 would be best.

Technically correct. This list was actually compiled for my Vtec, for which even Honda recommends a timing belt change at 100K kms.
Butttttttttttttttttttttttttttt Psycho insists that it is best to change at 60K. Also remember Iraghava's timing belt which snapped a LOT before 100K from his last change.
