MARUTI - SUZUKI
- true to its leadership position in the market - MARUTI really had a SUPERB display area
- right mix of entertainment and cars
- simply loved the separate sections for various body styles for the SWIFT AND THE ZEN ESTILO
- some of the ZEN ESTILO body styles really looked cool and i am sure this would help MARUTI in increasing their ESTILO sales if only they were to promote this car with such unique body fittings
- the SX4 rally car was simply awesome..
AUDI/VOLKSWAGEN
- the new TT was gorgeous
- there was the A4-A6 and i think A8L also on display
- but the eye catcher was the R10 TDI
heard this comment from a chap standing next to me while i was watching the R10 TDI - " is ka ground clearance hi nahi hai - yeh gaadi india me nahi chalega "
the Q7 was indeed amazing in flesh - finally a premium SUV with good space in the rear - i think it was much more spacious than the X5,
girl asking her boyfriend about the Q7 " yeh gaadi me kya speciality hai ? "
guy says " first its an AUDI, second its a Q7 , thirdly its a SUV - so its special "

nice cars, nice models and a superb skating show from some german chap doing juggling while skating
then there was this mad rush to grab free posters, calenders etc at their stall...
the TIGUAN looks promising - the chaps in the stall were mentioning on an indicative price of around Rs18-22 lakhs
that should give good competition to the CRV
