saw an impatient biker try to overtake an equally impatient scorpio at a T junction on a narrow two way road.
the scorpio was in no mood to give in.
Just then, an innova came in from the left(which was the foot end of the T).
Cut across the scorpio and the biker,who was in the process of overtaking the scorpio, then turned to take the road which the bike and the scorpio were racing on, but, in the right side lane.
the biker, who had drawn level with the scorpio's nose, had to brake hard to avoid T boning the right side of the innova.this probably cut short his premature mental celebrations on overtaking the scorpio.
next moment, the biker realises he's sandwiched between the two behemoths, both rash, both travelling at speeds close to 40kmph in opposite directions.
sense dawns!!! but too late. he panics, locks his brakes. I see his rear tyre smoke. then he bounces off the cheap looking, but costly cladding on the right rear side of the scorpio, then carroms a tiny bit before making contact with the curvy rear door panels of the innova's right side, then bounces back to his first love, the scorpio.
this time, he succeeds in dislodging the cladding on the scorpio. which is promptly run over by an auto which was travelling between me and the scorpio.
now the bit about the quarrel,
all of them stop their vehicles in the middle of the road, and get out.
by this time, i have squeezed past the mess(was the only one able to do so), stopped on the other side of the incident, close enough to hear what they are saying.this was too good to miss.
the scorpio and the innova go at the biker, who goes at both of them alternately. the trio are pulled apart by the ever helpful and interfering mallus.then the scorpio and innova go at each other, then they get pulled apart, then the locals go for the innova and the biker.
and finally, the scorpio goes for the auto for running over his cladding.
the road by now is completely jammed with people who are all grinning and getting a grandstand view of the action.
i debated getting my N73 out for some quick action shots, but decided against it as tempers were high. I left quickly as the scorpio guy was looking suspiciously at me while inspecting his cladding(I did run over it too, a teensy bit)
