Yes, ofcourse, very few drivers were willing to scale up to Rothang during that season. We went till the spot you see in pictures in a Qualis and from there hired a Sumo ( supposed to be better than qualis, tavera) for scaling until Rohtang pass which was another 20km upwards. Mind you, it was a scary trip with we tailspinning all the time. If you ask me, i would not like to do that again
