Hi All!

What a lovely welcome!!! Thank you very much!
I'll reply all the queries that will come with pleasure, glad to do it!
@Sam Kapasi... WOW you speak Italian!!!! What a pleasure mate!!!!!
Something more about my job, more than please to talk about, I used to run and operate a satellite truck for sports event, news, live tv transmission and such all over Europe.
Now I'm dealing with a fleet of about 10 satellite transmission vans spread all over Italy, I fix, repair, fit, upgrade and service those vans used by tv networks. A mix of hi tech in electronics and mechanics...
I love Fiat too, despite the fact I do not own one, hope to be of help to someone.
TATA is now my passion!!!
I did not know that GC is the model of my truck.
Here is sold as "TATA Pick-up Telcoline 4X4". Engine is the 483L
It does share the whole mechanic with Safari except rear axle that has leaf springs rather than coil springs. Also new Dicors 3.0 and 2.2 have the same drive train but different ring and pinion to comply with different torque/speed.
Here is a different picture in a Tata club meeting last November...

The tires I have are BFGoodrich Mud Terrain 215/75 on 15" original alloy rims.
I bought my Tata used, and it was low, as most of those
vehicle became after intense use. I found a good garage that was able
to refit the leaf springs with heat and a press (unfortunately the
pick-up does not have coil springs like Safari). Then just tensioning
a bit more the front torsion bars to get about +4/5cm.
will list the rest of repair/mods maybe in the appropriate thread...
Up to you now!

Ciao ciao
