Theres plenty of Fiat info throughout the forum, take your time and go through the threads, and give us your valued inputs. It would be a very refreshing point of view from you, as most people here still associate the 1100 with Bombays taxis. (There are still 53,000 plying the roads as taxis there!)
Rest assured you can find pretty much everything in terms of spares for your car here, and we'll be glad to help you out. Infact theres another gent from NZ lurking the forum as well, with a racer based on the 1100.

The car is currently at my mechanic - see my profile pic - as it had been standing for quite a while. Should have it back pretty soon (hopefully).
One question - there's been a bit of talk on the
MILLECENTO FIAT che passione forum about the instrument panel getting very faded, with strip speedo getting hard to read... Were those instrument panels fitted to newer Padminis... ie would new ones still be available somewhere...? I'm basically asking on behalf of others, so I'll pass on any info to the guys on the Italian forum.
