The esteem engine is not a direct fit and requires a change of gearbox, mounting points etc. The esteem engine is also much taller that the 1000 engine.
The MG410 was really, really underpowered and is no match for the king. I would go with GTO's suggestion, i.e., change the car!

yeah agreed.the esteem engine is taller than the 1000s. Thats why the differrence in the bonnet shape between the gypsy and the gypsy king.
@GTO, the XD3P without turbo is also a good buy. Arka aka ex670c has one in his jeep and our expert offroader Nitrous has sampled the same lifting wheels etc.. [refer the offroad training @ kelambakkam...]
Will try to source some engines for your jeep..the tavera engine is a great buy, but honestly trying to source / install 2nd hand turbo engines require a lot of patience and the jingle.
