Hi guys, my friend recently got me a set of headlamps (bluish tinged) which are chinese. I replaced the stock headlamp bulbs on my lancer (which are 60 w) with these bulbs (the wattage mentioned being 90 w) as i feel the light from stock bulbs is not sufficiently bright.
I did turn on the lights for 5 minutes but to my surprise even these blue tinged headlamps were throwing yellow light (instead of white light as mentioned on the package)
and there was no increase in intensity of the light too.
I'd like to ask whether xenon lamps throw white light after gettin heated up after some time (i had just switched on the light for few minutes) and also whether the increased wattage of the lamps may harm the headlights(like heating up and all)?
