the jerk you experienced during the gear shift is due to the engine moving forward on its bed yes i experience it very much during shifting in any gear and when the clutch is engaged or disengaged while the car is moving due to my weak engine bed.

I have been using 30 psi mostly and have a smoother ride than 32 or 33 that i know because i get the trye pressure checked every week, moreover if you travel some distance before checking your pressure then as the pressure shown is more than cold tyre pressure going for 1 or 2 units lesser wouldnt matter . |
