Hi Sam,
I just got off the phone with the Apple engineer at their store in Ansal Plaza, Delhi. He says that it might just be possible if the disk can be target mounted. His # is 9811173937 and name is Alok. I suggest you speak to him. You could say that you got his number from me (Ishan)..
