But I would say why to experiment with something that has already exceeded its product life cycle?? and mess up with whats going well currently? Agreed the 1.6 TDCi will surely do wonders with the Fiesta, but discontinuing the 1.4 TDCi with the Ikon 1.4 TDCi will not do any good for Ford: my personal opinion.
At the most what Ford can do is to use the present 1.4TDCi engine in the Ikon, and retain the same engine in the Fiesta aswell with some bhp boostup.
