the last car cd player i saw that skipped was in 1990. today i rarely have seen a car cd player that skips. most of them have decent shock absorbing systems and tend to rely on that instead of ESP (sony's terminology for the 10-20-30 sec of memory).
even back in the late 80s we could buy and install a player that rarely skipped. i had one in my contessa then.
mu guess is that your friend got a bad piece. the laser's mount must be critical. try this. run and cd player an whack th dash. if it skips somethings wrong. |
