Is this celeron proc one of the recent ones? Rule of thumb is newer is better

so I usually assume that this would be better then Athlon. Have no idea really about this specific proc.

OTOH, now a days pretty much any proc available in market is good enough to run Windows XP if you stick enough RAM in system. I don't feel any difference in system performance with this ancient system and latest workstation at my office (that is for day to day usage).

Only task that too much time is preparing a DVD image (that takes more then 2 hours in current system :( )
