I found this in my RC Book.
As per the RC this Vehicle was registered in Mumbai (MRE)on 14-05-1970
and Re registered in Bangalore(CAX) on 04-04-1985 with a new number. |
The 117 indicates it is a 67 model -- we can eliminate it being a 77 model as the 4th digit would have been a 2 or 3 for a 77.
The rest of the numbers are a bit of a problem. In 67 there were less than a million cars made and the chassis number should only be 6 digits long and the number you have above has 7.
IF we assume the first 6 are the correct digits -- that would be a June 67 car. Check under the back seat on the transmission tunnel -- the chassis number is on there as well. If the 7 was the typo and the last 6 digits are correct, then it would be a Jan or Feb car.
H0 is the correct 1500 engine for a 67.
Check your chassis #, let's see if we can solve this.
