The Gypsies pre 97 are NOT wide track. Secondly. the gypsies have a better low end torque than the kings which have the 1.3 esteem engine 5 speed gearbox with 4wd [low and high].
The gypsies have only a 4 speed gearbox [with 4wd low and high].
The kings have a better accelaration and top speed than the gypsies..but when it comes to off road, both are very similar. I've seen tough situations being done both by the King and the gypsy in a similar manner.
