Diameter Difference:3.46%

175/80/13 - Radius:12.01"; Circum:75.46"

185/70/13 - Radius: 11.59"; Circum: 72.85"

This is what I got when I compared the tyres. I have also read [here] that a difference of 3% is the maximum that you should have?

With the radius reducing by about 1/2" the ground clearance would be less by that much I suppose? Is this a significant amount? 1.25cm - I really have no idea.

What kind of pricing are these tyres?
