This is what I got when I compared the tyres. I have also read [here] that a difference of 3% is the maximum that you should have?

With the radius reducing by about 1/2" the ground clearance would be less by that much I suppose? Is this a significant amount? 1.25cm - I really have no idea.

What kind of pricing are these tyres?

Don't worry about the diameter difference. Even Mitsubishi don't know the ideal diameter for their car. The drop in diameter is 1.25cm but the ground clearance will drop by 0.6cm which is negligible. As kpzen suggested G-III and A300 are also available but teh A300 is extremely soft compound which will offer a good ride but may not last on our roads. The G-III are good performance tyres but on the lancer they have terrible road noise. The Apollo and michelin's are the best bet.
