Hey Doc, that final statement does hold infinite truth in it. The people who can afford such cars seldom think about driving pleasure or horsepower, for the simple fact that they will most definitely be driven around. There are a few who would peruse through the specifications deeply.
IMO, Most (not saying all) of the high end luxury car owners generally buy it cause they can afford it and the vehicle becomes a sort of 'status symbol'...
our dear friend has one, so we need to get one better... that is what most of them think of, rather than the specs. Same thing with high-end sports cars.
