Yes you can drive as hard as you want post the launch as the stress on the gear box is much less on a rolling start. I have already done 190 in fourth gear. Was almost at the rev limiter which is set at 7000 rpm. The pick up even at low RPM's has gone up so it is fun to drive even in traffic.
@theMAG - Oil temperature seems to holding steady as you know by first hand experience. Will shift to 5k replacement cycle now for the oil.
Latest update - Removed the center muffler and replaced with a straight pipe today. Was running a stock center muffler till now. Sounds pretty neat now. Not too loud but loads of bass. Hope LBM is not reading this. :-)
