The Team BHP Kolkata gang went on a drive to Santiniketan a few months back, you can check out the reports in the meet section. Although Santiniketan has become commercialized over the years, it still retains a little bit of its earthly charms. Nothing much to do there except for general adda and timepass (along with some mildly intoxicating substances
), so make sure you are in a large group (or for that matter, alone with that special someone!).
There's also Mondarmoni near Digha, which I've heard mixed reports about. Apparently, the last few miles of road are practically non-existent but the place itself is good once you get there. Its supposed to be much less commercialized than Digha or Shakarpur.
Another Team BHP drive is loooooong overdue, especially now that we have 'red hot' new entrant to the club... What say @Planet?
