Saiyan,
The Avy comes with a stock 130/90 15-inch tyre at the rear. I recently purchased an Avy 200 and got the rear tyre changed to a KINGS brand imported tubeless 150/80 tyre. No modifications were required and it was a direct fit. Grip, road stability at higher speeds etc is excellent. Tyre is pretty quiet too. Not much of noise. Ride quality is good too.
The tyre cost 2600 bucks at HARDEEP AUTO AGENCIES. You can contact Mr. Monty, who personally knows me. his mobile number is 98842 11163. You can say that Venkat (blue Avenger 200) recommended his place. A rear tyre of 140/90 size would cost about 200-300 bucks less, probably of the same brand. I hunted for MRF 140/90 Zapper Q but at 3-4 dealers, I was told that there was no stock available. Since I was anyway getting all the other things done at Hardeep for my Avy 200 (like alloys, horn, HID lighting kit etc), I decided to get the tyre from him as well. I have retained the stock front MRF Zapper 90/90 17-inch tyre, though an alloy wheel has now been fitted.
You may see the photos of my bike in this same Motorbikes section. Here is the link:

Nikkibike,
Champion Motors isn't a very good shop. This is just 1 or 2 shops away from Hardeep Auto Agencies, where I got all my stuff done for the Avenger 200. 2 of my friends had bad experiences in this shop. They talk to you as if they can do everything, and in the end, some things are only sold in the shop while for fitting you are told to take it elsewhere. There is some cut for the shop in the amount that the fitter will charge you. Shady stuff. So be careful with this place.
And a 130/70 17-inch is too wide a tyre for the Pulsar 150cc !!! Oh my - you've gone 3 sizes wider than the factory tyre. I got Malaysian FKR Ranger 120/80 as the rear tyre for my 2001 CBZ and it was a direct fit. No modifications required.
Warm regards,
Venkat
