Fantastic stuff, these cars are built like tanks so that they can take the severe beating they go through.

Those would be the linkage to the hydraulic actuator going to the gearbox. These cars are fitted with sequential gearboxes - Pull down to go into up through the order and push up to shift to a lower gear.
