The car is a 66-67 and hence to maintain the originality and to smoothen the transfer procedure the 1300 engine was fitted with a replacement engine and engine number punched on.
Present times all classic car lovers want the period look and matching details including the engine.
To avoid mix and match khichidi of the car, its been retained to originality.

I don't remember Ryan telling me about the 1500 option. It so happened the day I brought it home, I was telling my friend it was a 1500cc engine and he noticed the badge on the rear saying 1300, so I got a bit curious to know if it was 1500 or 1300 engine because the ad you had put out also said it was a 1500cc engine.
Right now it still has the same problem. Will take it to a garage next week.
