My GTX averaged 19 kmpl on bangalore-coimbatore run for the past 3 times! The FE is now hovering around 12-14kmpl mark in the city. Whoever said the GTX was not fuel efficient? Good quality fuel is all that it takes. Even with the occasional beltinf FE hardly goes below 12 kmpl in the city (well coimbatore city)
OHC 1.5 never below 15 kmpl. Worst has been 12 kmpl with very poor quality adulterated fuel near madurai. |
I guess you have been very lucky to get those figures for your GTX. My friend uses Speed 93 with it and has never been able to get more than 8 kmpl in Mumbai with AC. Also your OHC seems pretty good.
