 Hi, I'm new here from Pakistan
Just by pure chance I came across this fantastic site and it took me all of nearly three days just to go through the nearly priceless information and pictures posted here.
I'm currently working in the UAE and have had the good luck to own, drive and share some great and lovely cars- both inside and outside Pakistan.
The sad part is that a number of valuable and historic cars were taken out of Pakistan from 1966 onwards- there being no law to stop their export. I have myself seen a Mercedes K type being exported out in 1970 from Rawalpindi, a Bentley 4 1/2 litre from Nowshera, the Nawab of Bahawalpurs 540 K Mercedes with Barker body ( recently on e bay ) , 300 SL Gullwing Mercedes, the Mir of Khairpur RR Phantom II by Hooper... the list goes on and on. All these cars sadly lost.
