It happens when revs drop(close to idle) in the verna CRDI too. nothing to worry about. doesnt happen if your AC is on re circulate option.

I think the AC is pulling in air from the engine bay.
also happens when your at 4000rpm and then suddenly lift off the accelerator.
I have a theory, but its only a theory, so gurus dont jump on me.

i think, the engine is sucking in all the air it can get when its at high revs, and when you lift off the throttle, there is a slight build up in pressure in the engine bay, which forces heated air in through the AC vents.

after a few moments(less than 2 secs) of running at a lower rpm it goes away.

initially I thought it was some nice extra feature installed by hyundai to let us have all the engine power when we floor the accelerator, by cutting off the AC.
