I think that the Chevrolet Beat is basically based on Suzuki Cervo.
Just observe both the cars. It will be very close match.

I think that its nothing but a redadged Suzuki Cervo. So poor Suzuki, it cant sell Cervo any more unless priced very less than Beat ( Matiz/Spark ).

Actually the postition of suzuki is very bad in this. FIAT sold its diesel engine technology to various manufacturers to get money to survive.
The next generation of engines from FIAT, to be called MULTIAIR wont be sold to other manufacturers because now FIAT is in very sound position.

Suzuki is now dominated by GM.
