This is not the right time to visit Jog as the water level will be too low

. Best time to visit Jog is between July to september. On weekends water from the dam nearby (it is called Linganamakki dam or sharavati dam) is released. But still at this point of time the water level will be too low.

To stay you have lodges Mayura, KPCL guest house (can get it if you know any one working in BESCOM). Room rent is decent enough. Around 300 to 500. Food is not that great.
