Forget any other car comparison, If I put couple lakhs more than the TDI, I will take away the Octavia Diesel.
Would a small family looking for a Fabia not go for Octavia with much more luxury and spending just 20-25% more.
Maybe we should catch hold of the pricing decision makers and ask them the questions to know what exactly was Skoda thinking.
