The System actually offers advnatages in situations when one has to brake and steer at the the same time, not something which one would like to do on bikes with conventional suspension. Here one has to understand that during braking the weight transfer causes the front suspension to compress however with this system since the supension is horizontal so even during braking the shocks are not compressed and are only compressed due to undulations on the road which is what actually should happen ideally. Moreover since the system uses one spring instead of two telescopic forks one is saved the trouble of synchronizing the two forks, altough I am not completely sure about this bit.
