 Hyundai Elantra 1.5 years ownership report
It is one and a half years since I bought an Elantra CRDi after consulting members at team-bhp, and here are my comments
- The car has given me least problems except I am a little unhappy with the kind of service provided by Kun Hyundai in Chennai. They failed to replace parts during the warranty period or always say that theyr'e out of stock.
- The car gives excellent mileage and is comfortable for both city and highways but it is really a highway star
- The car drives well on the highways - has amazing stability and is very fast as well - speedo top speed of 185 +
- The mileage on highways is also better than most sedans at 14kpl
- The suspension could have been better, so could have been the back seats but overall it is a great car and would recommend a used Elantra (now that the new one has stopped selling) to anyone.
Hyundai could have done a better job with Elantra..but then..I guess we're done with it
