 All about Volvo
Hi All,
Have had a chance to visit the Volvo Museum at Gothenburg, Sweden this weekend, I must say it is a life time experience.
Volvo is the second largest truck manufacturer in the world, with its expertise and products wide spread in Cars, Trucks, Buses, Jet engines(Volvo Aero), Boat engines(Volvo Penta) etc.
Volvo's journey has been started on April 14th 1927 in the city of Gothenburg.
was there at the museum on 2nd of May and really excited to see their journey from 1927 to the 21st century.
It took us 6 hours to cover the whole museum and it covers in detail about their
Cars (Old, Current generation, Future and experimental cars)
Trucks
Buses
Jet engines
Boat engines
Tank engines
And the most instresting things include the office,chairs etc that were used on day one the company was started and the facts like the way they copied and reverse engineered the engine from a plane that had crashed on swedish soil etc...............
