I have always had good experiences with Exide, our Maruti 800 (1995 model now sold) used to always Exide : the OEM lasted around 5 years, we replaced with Exide again (indicator model), and did not face any problems. Also, in the KiHo scooter, the OEM was Exide, then replaced with SF (due to lower price), but the Exide had given trouble-free service during its life.
