While everybody talks about the poor life of Exide (and sometimes others), I wonder how many on this forum check the battery regularly. A battery, OEM or aftermarket, comes with a warranty card and page detailing the (monthly) checks by the battery dealer.
How many folks get things like specific gravity checked regularly? Battery load test, anybody? Water / electrolyte levels?
I don't intend to offend anybody but seems like we take a battery for granted.
