I agree. Both my cars, the esteem and the M800 came with factory fitted exide batteries.
The exide in the esteem lasted for over 4 years although it had run only some 35k KMS. The one in the 800 conked out in less than 24k KMS or 3 years. Now both have Amaron's and I'm pretty satisfied.
Ensure to check the distilled water level and the charge once every month and more frequently in summer. For the Amaron's I check the water level at a local batter shop once every 3-4 months. The indicator on the vattery may not be very accurate you know.
