Ok Guys heres the latest on JD: -

The bed sore which was operated on has healed well. JD 's active physio sessions are in full swing now. Movement to his hands has improved a little but there is still a long way to go. He is able to send short emails and feed himself with the help of certain devices which are strapped onto his hands.

He spends more time on the wheel chair now, nearly 6 to 7 hours a day cumulatively, and this will increase as the muscles on his back start becoming stronger. He spends time outdoors as much as he is allowed to.

Jd was even put into a swimming pool, something he really didnt like too much in the begining, but is ok with now. He cant use his arms and legs as a result of which the experience at first was extremenly scary for the poor chap, but he's got used to being in the pool and pretty much likes it.

As Ajmat said, he is being moved to New Jersey, to the Kessler institute in orange county on the 12th of May. The equipment and technology in the U.S. for spinal cord injuries is much better than what is available in Germany and we have been gven to understand that his rehab progress in the U.S. will be twice as fast as it is in Germany. JD is looking forward to going to the states for further treatment. Moving a person with his kind of injury is not an easy task and a lot of planning is underway for the move.

Otherwise he is in good spirits, some days are bad and he feels really low, which is quite understandable. I have conveyed all your good wishes to him and he is most greatful and thanks you all for the same.

Thank you all for your continued support.
