We've done away with the drive part for this meet - lets first get to know each other. Please suggest a venue for an evening meet (eat + drink). Jimmy Dix at the Movenpik is a nice place with a decent band. The Music Room at the Majestic Towers has a terrific band that plays classic rock hits. Both these places have parking available nearby.
PLEASE DO NOT SUGGEST ANY PLACE IN KARAMA AS A VENUE - getting in and out of that place is a nightmare. If we're looking for something more upmarket may I suggest Barzaar at the Madinat or 360 at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel? These are relaxed joints, though - I'm growing old. However none of you young guns have come up with suggestions.
nitroxx - where are you? And isnt Elf somewhere in Dubai as well?
