I also agree that the lever thingy is more confidence-inspiring, but I'm also enjoying the selector 'switch' immensely! Having done large distances on bad terrain and many water crossings, it is working well so far.
The disconcerting trait about these electric shifts is that they do not engage instantly. A few seconds elapse before 4WD gets engaged and you hear the reassuring clicks; same for Low Ratio. |
