Sir...I dont know on what basis you came to this conclusion but I think you are way off track here....we have both the esteem and alto in our family and use them regularly, Esteem is wayyyyy more bigger in size iternally as well as externally. Getting out of esteem and getting into the Alto I feel like entering a small cage. The Esteem is a lot more wider car and much much more spacious than the cramped Alto. No similarities what so ever except for the Maruti like feeling
