have been loyal to Shell ever since they started operations in Bangalore, one of the cars (Laura) has been on Shell diesel from day-1.
but finally gave up on their prices and filled IOC extra mile diesel this week. The low-rpm pull of the car is negatively affected marginally. I stalled at a couple of places during my daily drive which never happened with Shell and the motor was asking me to slot in to 1st gear where 2nd gear used to be fine with Shell.
No change in mileage though (initial impressions). In any case, no going back to Shell. Miss their service.
Btw, I filled xtra mile diesel at the IOC bunk behind Mallya hospital. I noticed they have integrated billing which is definitely comforting. |
