 Update: battery life
On paper, the Sansa clip is supposed to have a battery life of 15 hrs but I found the maximum battery life to be approximately 13 hours. This was achieved by lowering the display brightness to the bare minimum, maintaining the volume constant at 20% (6/30). IF you like changing stations or songs often, that will use up the battery life more as the display comes into play.
