had a test drive on both cars:
Honda CIVIC which i thought i would settle down really disappointed me by a huge margin.Okay the car looks pretty decent has that digital speedo and has a very appealing looks.BUT, the 1.8 i vtec really failed to excite me.I really thought it would be more powerful but it had too much engine noise, poor acceleration etc etc.
The new Accord, though I am not a great fan of how it looks, really bowled me over.Its a bit large for my requirement but thats not a problem.The interiors are very classy, and even the basic trim has almost all the necessary gadgets i require.The 2.4L engine, is pretty smooth and refined and NVH are quite low compared to the CIVIC.Power output is also in a different league compared to the other.
I never thought i would end up buying the new ACCORD but after driving the same it looks as if i might end up doing just that.
I have to admit, this is by far the best interior i have come across in a jap car....
