That is why we need a manual!!! Even then, it won't need 1000nm to reach 100kmph. If you ever get the chance to drive one of those SL65's, switch off the traction control or what ever control it has and try doing a 0-100. You'll end up being even slower bcoz 1000nm is way too much torque, all the car'll do is spin it's wheels.
It could well have done with a little less turning force and a M/T.
That's all we are saying.
