Need some manual controls for when I use it. Most of the time it would be on auto though

No. My better half has used Nikon and Olympus. I've used Canon. Neither of us is stuck on any of these brands.

Wide angle would be useful. Image stabilization and flip LCD are nice to haves which I wont miss too much if they arent there.

Suggestions and tips would be much appreciated.
