I'm leaving for Bangalore tomorrow morning from Rajkot. I'm searching for options to get to Bangalore via Shirdi and ShaniSingnapur, if it can be done without wasting too much of time, I should do it else I will keep that for later - dont want to miss on my original schedule...
I checked mapmyindia and it gives me following from Surat..
Surat >> Surgana >> Lasalgaon >> Shirdi
Had another look at SatGuide and it gives me almost similar way to reach Shirdi (multistop planner doesnt seem to be working when it comes to view the route overview somehow!!)
Let me know if you have a good route in mind where I can cover Shirdi and ShaniSingnapur on my way to Bangalore and also want to spend much time on GQ / NH4 if possible...
Thanks.. |
Hai Ketan,
You'd notice that the dip is on the return leg from Baroda to Ahmedabad. I had written to NHAI also, don't know it that worked. All I know is that it was not tere from Feb onwards, a friend checked that out on his way back from Baroda, they must have filled it up.
Only way to go from Surat section to Shirdi and Sanisignapur is thro. Sabutara, that would slow you down plenty. If its a visit to both the temples, you'd have to plan for a night halt. Early next day morning if you push off, you'd be able to make good time, and even reach Bangalore straight, if you drive hard and don't mind reaching late at night.
On the way back, you can cover it up thro Pune, Shirdi, Sabutara, Surat Ahmedabad. A stop over is ideal at Shirdi.
Will try the Satguide, I have destinator 9 now. If you put start as Ahmedabd and stop as Pune, it would give a crazy route map which will probably take 2 days of riding. Best is to do multi-stop plan Pune to Shirdi, Shirdi to Surat and Surat to Ahmedabd.
Happy Driivng,
