I have a Skoda 1.9TDI and a E220 CDI W211
Diesel is my choice since I travel extensively, the adulteration for diesel is far lesser than petrol and the wear and tear on engine is also less.
Also the torque on CRDI engines is far higher and a better option for city drive ... Even the FE is excellent ...
Skoda ...... City 17 KMPL ... Highway 20 KMPL
Mercedes.. City 11 KMPL ... Highway 15KMPL
