Banjara camp guys would definitely know as they have guests coming in almost daily ... but then there are times when they say that everythin is open but ppl still get stuck for hours in a jam caused due to a landslide as Banjara guys forgot to tell them about that blockage -- just incase they cancel coming totally .
Also another place to get info is from the HRTC office at ISBT -- ask them if the bus to Reckong Peo is running or is the road blocked and they will tell you .

Flash floods aint half as scary as cloud bursts -- cloud burst can ha[[en anywhere and anytime and causes a lot of destruction and there is no warning that its coming your way .
A flash flood on the other hand causes destruction but not as much human destruction as it can only happen in areas where there is a river already running or a stream running . And people have time to move away when its tsrats to rain heavily -- life is lost of those souls who refuse to move away inspite of living close to the banks knowing that heavy rains might coz flash floods !!!
